Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia, or Southeastern Asia, is a subregion of Asia, consisting of the countries that are geographically south of China and Japan, east of India, west of Papua New Guinea, and north of Australia.

The countries that include in Southeast Asia are Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Brunei and Timor-Leste.
The region's economy greatly depends on agriculture; rice and rubber have long been prominent exports. Manufacturing and services are becoming more important. An emerging market, Indonesia is the largest economy in this region.

The climate in Southeast Asia is mainly tropical–hot and humid all year round with plentiful rainfall. Northern Vietnam and the Myanmar Himalayas are the only regions in Southeast Asia that feature a subtropical climate, which has a cold winter with snow. So that means you can visit almost all countries during February to May because that is the time where there is very little rainfall.

Because I live here in Southeast Asia, here in the Philippines, I can give a lot of examples to visit...

Some things to see and do in Southeast Asia:

        Philippines:

        Boracay

Boracay Island in Aklan is famous for its pristine waters and white sand beaches. It became a tourist spot in the 1970's and also became famous from the American movies filmed there. It is now one of the top beaches around the world.

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park or Puerto Princesa Underground River is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World in 2012 and declared a UNESCO Heritage site in 1999. It is a very famous tourist attraction here in the Philippines and a lot of tourists visit the river everyday. During the tour, the best thing is the part when your boat enter cathedral-like cavern and it also has a rock formation of the Holy Family! It's a must visit site for tourists in Palawan!

        The Grand Palace

The Grand Palace complex was established in 1782 and it consists of not only royal and throne halls, but also a number of government offices as well as the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It covers an area of 218,000 square metres and is surrounded by four walls, 1900 metres in length. After King Rama I ascended to the throne in 1782, the palace was built. Prior to this, the royal palace and centre of administration had been located in Thonburi, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

        Thailand-

        The Grand Palace
